What 60499 refers to

The code 60499 on this old address is not a UK postcode. Bedford Park in Chiswick is in W4. If the car is there, give W4 and the street. If you meant a different Bedford Park, read the postcode off the vehicle before you call.

Bedford Park is the place we cover here for 60499. Nearby outward codes are listed below in case the code on the car is the next one along.

Vans parked in Bedford Park

If the vehicle in Bedford Park is a van, say so before the quote. Light commercial tyres carry a load index the car stock will not satisfy. Read the sidewall if you can do it without standing in traffic. Twin rear wheels take longer. A 60499 yard with a height barrier needs mentioning too, or the van we send may not fit through it.

One axle, not one corner

If the other tyre on the same axle in Bedford Park is much more worn, a single new tyre can upset braking in the wet. We will say so before you pay. The speed and load codes on the sidewall have to match what the car was given. 60499 does not change the axle. It only changes the drive.

Legal tread is separate from the puncture

UK tyres need at least 1.6 mm of tread across the central three-quarters of the width, all the way round. Patching a bald tyre in Bedford Park does not make it legal. If the tread on the 60499 car is already on the wear bars, expect a replacement quote, not a repair quote.

Booking Bedford Park

School-run traffic changes the Bedford Park arrival even when the postcode stays the same. A space-saver already fitted in Bedford Park does not end the need for a proper tyre. Stay with the car in Bedford Park so the technician can identify it. Height barriers on car parks in Bedford Park stop some vans.

Book Bedford Park on 020 8088 3978 or with the form on the contact page. Nothing is fitted until the price is agreed.
