Can every flat tyre in SG9 be repaired on the street?

No. A repair in SG9 is only suitable when the damage is in the central tread and the tyre can come off the wheel for an internal patch. Sidewall cuts in Brent Pelham are replacements.

Does SG9 mean you will arrive in a fixed number of minutes?

No. Traffic in Stevenage, and how far the technician has to travel, set the time for SG9. We tell you that time before you accept it.

What should I say when I call from SG9?

Say the street in Brent Pelham, the code SG9, what the tyre looks like, and whether you have the locking wheel nut key. A photo helps if you can take one safely.

What SG9 does to the clock

Arrival in Brent Pelham is the drive from a free technician plus the traffic on that route. We do not publish a minute count for SG9. You get a window on the phone, and you can decline it. Night, school-run, and match-day traffic are different journeys even when the postcode is the same.

Vans parked in Brent Pelham

If the vehicle in Brent Pelham is a van, say so before the quote. Light commercial tyres carry a load index the car stock will not satisfy. Read the sidewall if you can do it without standing in traffic. Twin rear wheels take longer. A SG9 yard with a height barrier needs mentioning too, or the van we send may not fit through it.

Run-flat tyres in Brent Pelham

A run-flat that has been driven while flat is often beyond a repair, even when the hole looks small. If the car in Brent Pelham showed a pressure warning and you kept going, say how far. We would rather price a replacement for SG9 than promise a patch the tyre cannot take.

Booking Brent Pelham

Match-day closures around SG9 belong in the first phone call. The load index on a SG9 van tyre is read before stock is chosen. A photo of the SG9 damage should be taken only from a safe place. What3words plus SG9 is better than a district name on its own.
