What should I say when I call from E8?

Say the street in Shacklewell, the code E8, what the tyre looks like, and whether you have the locking wheel nut key. A photo helps if you can take one safely.

Can every flat tyre in E8 be repaired on the street?

No. A repair in E8 is only suitable when the damage is in the central tread and the tyre can come off the wheel for an internal patch. Sidewall cuts in Shacklewell are replacements.

Does E8 mean you will arrive in a fixed number of minutes?

No. Traffic in east London, and how far the technician has to travel, set the time for E8. We tell you that time before you accept it.

Spare wheels and Shacklewell

A space-saver spare is a temporary, speed-limited wheel, not a repaired tyre. If you have already fitted one in Shacklewell, we can still come and fit a proper tyre. If you have no spare and the tyre is off the bead, do not try to drive across E8. Wait where the car is safe.
