Does B11 mean you will arrive in a fixed number of minutes?

No. Traffic in Birmingham, and how far the technician has to travel, set the time for B11. We tell you that time before you accept it.

What should I say when I call from B11?

Say the street in Tyseley, the code B11, what the tyre looks like, and whether you have the locking wheel nut key. A photo helps if you can take one safely.

Can every flat tyre in B11 be repaired on the street?

No. A repair in B11 is only suitable when the damage is in the central tread and the tyre can come off the wheel for an internal patch. Sidewall cuts in Tyseley are replacements.

What B11 does to the clock

Arrival in Tyseley is the drive from a free technician plus the traffic on that route. We do not publish a minute count for B11. You get a window on the phone, and you can decline it. Night, school-run, and match-day traffic are different journeys even when the postcode is the same.

Vans parked in Tyseley

If the vehicle in Tyseley is a van, say so before the quote. Light commercial tyres carry a load index the car stock will not satisfy. Read the sidewall if you can do it without standing in traffic. Twin rear wheels take longer. A B11 yard with a height barrier needs mentioning too, or the van we send may not fit through it.

The inside of the tyre

The finished repair for a puncture in Tyseley is a patch from the inside, after the tyre is off the rim, in the manner of BS AU 159. A rope plug pushed in from the outside is not that repair. We will not describe it as one. If B11 is a roadside spot, we still need enough room to take the wheel off.

Booking Tyseley

School-run traffic changes the Tyseley arrival even when the postcode stays the same. A space-saver already fitted in Tyseley does not end the need for a proper tyre. Stay with the car in Tyseley so the technician can identify it. Height barriers on car parks in Tyseley stop some vans.

Book Tyseley on 020 8088 3978 or with the form on the contact page. Nothing is fitted until the price is agreed.
