Does HP22 mean you will arrive in a fixed number of minutes?

No. Traffic in Hemel Hempstead and Aylesbury, and how far the technician has to travel, set the time for HP22. We tell you that time before you accept it.

What should I say when I call from HP22?

Say the street in Weston Turville, the code HP22, what the tyre looks like, and whether you have the locking wheel nut key. A photo helps if you can take one safely.

Can every flat tyre in HP22 be repaired on the street?

No. A repair in HP22 is only suitable when the damage is in the central tread and the tyre can come off the wheel for an internal patch. Sidewall cuts in Weston Turville are replacements.

Where a jack can stand in Weston Turville

In Weston Turville the useful question is the surface under the vehicle, not the district slogan. A flat driveway, a marked bay, or a quiet side street lets the technician raise the car. A camber, a soft verge, or a live lane does not. If you are in HP22 and the first spot is unsafe, say so. Moving one street is better than abandoning the job.

One axle, not one corner

If the other tyre on the same axle in Weston Turville is much more worn, a single new tyre can upset braking in the wet. We will say so before you pay. The speed and load codes on the sidewall have to match what the car was given. HP22 does not change the axle. It only changes the drive.

What to have ready in Weston Turville

Have the registration, a mobile number that you will answer, and the outward code HP22 confirmed against the vehicle, not against a guess. If you use what3words, give the words as well as the postcode. Stay with the car. A technician cannot start on a vehicle that nobody can identify.
